After a trip to the Vancouver Archives today, where I spent a few hours looking through microfiche and old photos and documents, I emerged as a semi-pro on the history of False Creek... at least from the 1970's onward. I also bought a book that I have yet to crack open called "False Creek", that details everything from the First Nations group who were the first inhabitants all the way up to 1983 when huge logs filled most of the water in the Creek.
